Sustainable Artificial Intelligence for the Protection of Green Rights - Full Article

Abstract
AI can be a valuable tool for the pursuit of multiple objectives, including those of
sustainability, implying relevant benefits for the human being, placed at the
center of regulation for the protection of those rights that are reinterpreted in the
perspective of environmental sustainability (green rights), then also deepened in
its other declinations. At the same time, however, it is of fundamental importance
to establish the perimeter of AI's operation in order to limit its risks for human
beings and for the environment to which the same belongs, also through adequate
instruments of private law for the protection of sustainability, which move from
the legal qualification of nature and focus, then, on digital corporate
responsibility, also in consideration of the so-called ESG factors, and on corporate
contracting, with a focus on measuring the impact of AI.
